Considerations over a desktop platform
10 reasons to hate KDE

1. You don't want to install a Linux or BSD based OS and still have the dull look and feel of windows.
2. No point in trading OpenOffice for Koffice
3. Firefox, Evolution, Abiword, GNUmeric, and blah blah blah
4. Konqueror sucks. It is usable as a web browser (and you might want to use Firefox anyway), but horrible as a file browser. Somebody write a finder-clone! (there are many for windows, why not even one for KDE?)
5. It is very customizable, indeed. If you need to customize that it means that you don't like it the way it is.
6. No point in customizing the desk when your file-browser remains the same (and sucks).
7. No easy way for a spatial mode. I don't even know if you can have one.
8. Heavyweight
9. Partial GTK2+ compliance
10. I still can't figure HOW Torvalds can think that I would trade my main apps for some eyecandy-bs.
